New job opportunity: Greencubator is hiring a project assistant

Greencubator is launching a new project to support and promote new startups and businesses in the cleantech and climate sectors. This project provides the foundation for the green transformation of Ukraine’s economy. We are looking for new colleagues who will contribute to the project’s successful implementation. 

Main responsibilities

  • Maintain effective and up-to-date communication with candidates, participants and alums of the project;
  • Support the project’s marketing and partnership campaigns;
  • Be the heart of the project’s administrative work and document flow;
  • Work on the daily organization of the project, implementation of its tasks and monitoring of project results;
  • Prepare documentation following the instructions, procedures and tasks of the project manager;
  • Maintain the project document flow (official reports, expert and other documents, outgoing and incoming correspondence, contact lists);
  • Organize logistical support for project participants;
  • Participate in planning activities, organizing meetings, training, and events; assist in coordinating interaction with government authorities, partners, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, donors and other stakeholders related to the project.
  • Coordinate the signing of contracts with project participants, consultants and experts;
  • Collect and monitor the necessary information for the effective implementation of the project;
  • Participate in other ongoing project tasks.

What we expect from a candidate

  • A university degree in one of the following fields: management, marketing, economics and business, energy, and ecology.  We do not discriminate by diploma, but the basics of economic and technological thinking are essential to us;
  • At least one year of relevant professional experience in the administrative field or positions related to project support. You must be a great administrator and enjoy this work;
  • Ukrainian language proficiency and fluency in English (especially in writing);
  • A constant desire for learning and self-improvement;
  • A sense of fulfillment from completing tasks;
  • High level of self-organization;
  • A desire to be involved in globally important projects;
  • Proactivity and ability to plan and prioritize work.

Required qualifications and skills

  • Practical knowledge and experience in performing administrative duties;
  • Experience in assisting in the organization of training seminars, conferences, and other events;
  • Fluency in classic office programs in desktop versions (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) and their cloud-based counterparts from Google. We regularly use Google Calendar, Slack, Trello, and Zoom, look for the best CRM for us, and use quite specific software for grant management. The ability to work with planning software and organize work is a plus. 
  • Correct communication (verbal and written) – we are picky and do not submit documents with mistakes.
  • An ability to build and maintain basic business processes (and we welcome suggestions for their improvement)
  • Teamwork – we operate mainly in a hybrid mode from several cities (but your desire to work from Kyiv in person is welcome).
