Greencubator and UCU Lviv Business School (LvBS) signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop a joint training course “Cooperation for Sustainable Development” and related acceleration products to support Ukraine’s cooperation.
The training course will be based on the Greencubator team experience, which became one of the drivers of the energy cooperative “Solar Town,” the world’s best cooperation practices, and the legacy of Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytsky, one of the founders of the Ukrainian cooperative movement.
“It is especially important for us that our cooperation combines the modern and relevant experience of creating energy cooperatives and the principles and knowledge of Andrei Sheptytsky, the largest preacher and disseminator of cooperative practices”, – noted Roksoliana Voronovska, CEO of LvBS Consulting.
“We are convinced cooperatives are very effective tools for transforming dialogue and mutual trust into a common cause and entrepreneurial activity at the community and regional level. Citizens and businesses united in cooperatives can achieve sustainable transformations in energy, waste management, building a circular economy, and many other components of what we know as sustainable development”, – told Andriy Zinchenko, Greencubator co-founder.
The LvBS and Greencubator teams are convinced this agreement means more than launching a joint educational project. Applied knowledge about cooperation allows to democratize investments and provide new opportunities for local entrepreneurs and communities.
The course is designed for small and medium businesses, proactive community members, and local government representatives.
“Early birds” registration is already open: https://greencubator.info/coopcourse/
We invite donors and representatives of the business community to support a quality educational product about Ukraine’s cooperation.
