We’ve finally caught our breath — and are excited to share photos from the recent offline meetup of GCIP Ukraine 2.0 Advanced Accelerator participants.
It was an intense, inspiring day full of meaningful conversations, new connections, warm hugs, and high-quality networking. We’re proud to have brought together such a diverse, strong, and motivated group of cleantech businesses — giving them a space to meet, support each other, and showcase just how awesome they are.
According to the participants, the event was a great opportunity to broaden perspectives, find like-minded innovators — and even meet potential partners. And for us, it was yet another reminder of the incredible drive and resilience of Ukrainian changemakers.

We were especially happy to welcome a few surprise but very welcome guests — Julia Bialetska, CEO of S.Lab and Entrepreneur in Residence of our program, and Iryna Hubarets from the European Union Delegation to Ukraine.
The day also featured a live-streamed panel discussion, “Green Business During Wartime: Is It the Right Time?” with speakers Yuliana Onishchuk, Andriy Medvedenko, Viktor Khomenko, Maria Shamota, and Roman Zinchenko — who explored the challenges and opportunities of green transformation in wartime Ukraine.
“It was incredibly engaging to hear the participants’ pitches and give feedback — you wouldn’t believe how many impressive, mature projects and founders we have who, despite their facilities being destroyed by russia, are standing back up and building green businesses! The Greencubator team has a unique skill for finding and bringing together such unstoppable people,” shared Maria Shamota.

We’re deeply grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for making safe in-person events like this possible.
Special thanks to UNIT.City for being a perfect hosting venue, LCF Law Group for legal partnership, and the tireless event team Event Envoy led by Anastasiya Polinkova for creating such a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.
GCIP Ukraine 2025 is a free, three-month acceleration program for Ukrainian cleantech companies, implemented by UNIDO, Greencubator, and Global Environment Facility.
Ahead of us: workshops, mentoring, learning, and participation in industry events. We’re off to a strong and inspired start!
