In July, we joined the heart of the global green conversation — the Global Green Industrialization Dialogue (GGID 2025) held in Vienna under the leadership of our long-standing partners at UNIDO.
Greencubator was represented at the event by Valeriia Mosiienko, Head of the GCIP Ukraine 2.0 acceleration program, and Olexandra Danchenko, Project Coordinator of GCIP Ukraine 2.0. Olexandra also had the honor of joining the speaker lineup at the roundtable “Future Talent: Skills for the Next Generation of Green Industry”.
Her speech highlighted the very real and urgent context in Ukraine, where over 30% of the country’s energy infrastructure has been destroyed by the ongoing Russian war of aggression. Key points included:
▪️ In Ukraine, the green transition is not a trend — it’s a matter of survival.
▪️ We don’t have the luxury of slow transformation. We need solutions that are fast, inclusive, and resilient.
▪️ With over a million men mobilized into the Armed Forces, we are witnessing a reverse gender gap — women are taking up new roles in solar panel installation, logistics, and energy project management.
▪️ There is a severe skills gap — technical, managerial, and innovation-driven.
▪️ Initiatives like Reskilling Ukraine and the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation are helping train a new generation of women leaders in the green economy.

This dialogue covered a wide range of topics — from financing and technologies to human capital and supply chains. But for us, the most valuable part was ensuring Ukraine’s voice was present in the global conversation — and heard.
Huge thanks to hashtag#UNIDO for the invitation, trust, and continued support! We’re proud to be part of GCIP — a global program accelerating hashtag#cleantech innovation.
We continue working — for a strong, green, and resilient Ukraine.
