Kyiv, Ukraine, 2 October 2009

Ukrainian Renewable Energy Forum on October 15-16 will host EnergyStart investment fair: a launch-pad event for Renewable energy / Cleantech companies seeking investments. Organized by Greencubator team, EnergyStart will incorporate the core group of IDCEE Cleantech start-ups, that will have the opportunity to present themselves to investors within Ukrainian Renewable Energy Forum investment section.

According to Roman Zinchenko, network coordinator at Greencubator, “It’s high time for creation of renewable energy investments hubs in Ukraine as a part of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region, so we believe EnergyStart will give a strong launch for a series of investment events in the sector, fueling growth for new energy businesses across the region”.

Vitaliy Daviy, head of organizing committee of Ukrainian Renewable Energy Forum considers such cooperation to be “timely and wise consolidation of efforts in renewable energy field, allowing productive contacts between promising businesses in renewable energy sector and potential investors”.

“IDCEE shifted its major event to spring 2010 to avoid overlap with other international events this autumn, – explains Denis Dovgopoliy, team leader at IDCEE, – but integration of our CleanTech section with Ukrainian Renewable Energy Forum / EnergyStart allows to keep the momentum of CleanTech ventures in CEE region.
